By signing up, you are complying with Nine Lives' rules and regulations. You are agreeing to be a courteous, responsible member of Nine Lives, and treat everyone with due respect.
You are also complying with the following guidelines:
All work submitted must be Caryl centric.
All work submitted must follow all Submissions Guidelines
All work submitted must be your own. Plagiarism is not tolerated on this site. The definition of plagiarism and our stance on it can be found here. Anyone caught plagiarising from another author will be banned immedately and their stories deleted. If you see plagiarism and wish to report it, follow these steps:
- Contact one of the Admins.
- Ensure you include links to both works, specifically the chapters or text you wish to have clarified.
- Outline with specific examples what you believe has been stolen: list ideas and plot points, or highlight copied text from both fics.
Considering the fact that Nine Lives hosts fiction with adult themes—be the themes sexual, violent, or general content—all authors MUST be at least seventeen years of age. By signing up for an account, you verify that you are at least seventeen years old and assume responsibility for any content you might read.
No flames allowed. Constructive criticism is welcome, but if a review is found to be pointed with insults and personal statements about the author, it will be removed, and the responsible party will be banned from the site. We encourage growth as authors, but disrespecting another author's work will simply not be tolerated.
Remember, we are here for the fun and love of writing/reading Caryl. The easiest rule to follow is this: TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED. The Golden Rule. Sadly, we live and operate in a world - and Fandom - that does not always treat others with due respect. If the administration discovers that a Nine Lives' member has been harassing another member, the offending party will be banned from the site.
While we wait patiently for the slow grow to present us finally with canon Caryl, come on and write, read and review. And, most importantly, have fun.
