I am a tireless (some would say tiresome) advocate for the use of a beta reader, and I've encountered a fair amount of resistance to the idea from my fellow fan fic writers.

Using a beta can be so important to improving your writing. And it doesn't have to be scary, I promise! But maybe you need some reassurance. So we've decided to share some insights into how the process works, and maybe make the whole thing a little less intimidating while we're at it.
