This is something I posted on ff.net quite a while ago, and was posted under my one-shot series "The Vagabonds" as chapter 14 ("Fighters"). It is one of my personal favourites and I just realized I had never posted it here! I hope you enjoy : )

(It's "season 1" because it takes place at the quarry, and "pre-series" because it happens mostly before Rick arrives - I didn't know which category fit better!)
