So.  This is something I've been pecking away at since before I posted either of my other stories, and it's a little different than the others.  

For one thing, there are actual walkers. 

Another, Daryl is separated from Carol.  How and why is still a mystery to be answered, but he's not alone.  He's with someone quite surprising.  A couple of someone's actually. 

Obviously, this story is another AU, and while I debated even posting it here because the Caryl parts are initially subtle, they make up a strong component of later chapters. 

I hope you give it a chance and find it worth continuing.
