Summary:

Written for a call for entries on the USS Caryl on Tumblr, re: Carol's storyline in S4. This sort of inadvertently ended up reflecting the last USS Caryl challenge as well, for lyric-based fic/art. No happy endings here, sorry. I don't know what's going to happen, obviously (I'm not even sure I believe this is how things went down, at all); this is just one possible take on Carol's motivations and how she's feeling, having been banished from the prison.
