Summary:

In the beginning, sometimes she was so awkward he was disgusted. He couldn’t stand her; couldn’t walk away from her, either. He watched as she hid under mommy blouses and those pretty blue eyes, all the while being so raw underneath.

Carol is wrong in as many ways as a person can be and still get along in this world.
