Daryl had never been provided with too much of appreciation; not that he ever done anything to deserve that.
After saving that little girl's life, something started to change, both within himself and between him and Carol, whose daughter wouldn't quit following him around.
In her life and in the dreamworld of hers, beautiful memories have always been only the requiem of something much sadder, scarier, and Carol wishes there would be finally something - or someone - that would stop the whirlwind of that curse.
She hopes that hers and that certain someone's thoughts operate alike on this matter.
