She snuggled closer. “Did you like it?”

  He huffed out a laugh and rubbed her back. “Shit, yeah I liked it.” He snickered. “Why’d you think I didn’t?”

  “I was just double checking.” She grinned to herself at the lazy way he was flopped against the mattress, sated and relaxed in the early-morning sunlight.

Yeah, this is exactly what you think it it. I'm sorry (but not really)!

Set in 'The Farm' arc. Daryl has a tendency to bring home baby animals or ex-pets, provided they're safe enough to be around the kids. He'd brought home some rabbits to breed for meat, and a hodge-podge flock of chicken, but none of his finds were quite as interesting as Anthony the Turtle.

Set in the "The Farm" arc. Carol learns that neither Daryl or Carl have ever seen the sea... The group rectifies that and take a trip to the ocean. Shameless happy snapshot of life once everyone has recovered from Terminus, complete with sunbathing and sunscreen and Judith splashing people with water and Caryl cuteness... 

Prompt response from Tumblr... "It's not meant to bend like that." After Carol and Tyreese liberate Terminus, she notices Daryl isn't following them any more. She heads back to find him, but he's hurt. A bit of pre-fluff, Caryl snuggles, and Carol gives Rick a piece of her mind.

Just some silly, lazy fluff on a lazy spring afternoon... Set in 'The Farm' arc. 

Her hair was sticking up and there were faint lines across her cheeks and the ridge of her nose where the wrinkled pillowcase had left impressions in her skin. She squinted sleepily at him as the late-afternoon sun slanted into her eyes and he stroked her back.

  “What’s so funny?” She mumbled, smiling lazily.

  “Nothin’,” He laughed softly. “You’re pretty, is all.”

  Ed? She shook her head. Ed was long dead… She’d put a pickaxe through his skull at the quarry, she knew it. With a flash of clarity, she realised she was imagining him. Occasionally, after a night terror, she’d wake and still be able to see Lizzie, blood-soaked and smiling, in the room with her. Other nights it would be Sophia, stumbling up behind Daryl as he leaned over her, stroking her hair off her face and whispering nonsense to her until she calmed down.

Carol's on watch, and the heat has her mind playing tricks on her... Or does it?

A one-shot I entered in the USS Caryl's 'Spring Fling' challenge a while back, the prompt was 'egg'. Daryl surprises Carol with chocolate and they do something fun for the kids... Set on the same farm as 'Flower Crowns'. 

The first time he kissed her, she was covered in dust and bits of hay from clearing out stalls for them to shelter in whilst they winter-proofed the houses. He, on the other hand, had walker muck splattered across his hands and forearms from his watch shift. They meet at the water pump in the yard and their teasing leads to a little more... Set after "The Bookshop" but before "Easter Morning". Still in "The Farm" arc. 

'"They asked me if I'd take 'em huntin' over the wall. I said 'no' but they seemed real keen." Daryl said, gnawing on his lip. "Y'don' think they'd skip over the wall, do you?"

  Carol and Maggie looked at each other, aghast. Carol pressed her hand to her mouth in terror. "They could have."'

Caleb and Rory, six-year-old best friends, disappear one day and they're nowhere to be found on the farm. Their mothers are terrified, and Daryl goes searching in the woods for two little boys, afraid of what he might find. Set in 'The Farm' arc. A happy ending, I promise! 

No-Apocalypse AU. Daryl, a construction worker, finds a dog on the side of the road and brings it in to Herschel's veterinary clinic. Carol just happens to be working as the receptionist.

Daryl forms an attachment to the stray dog, and Carol as well!

Set in 'The Farm' arc, after 'First Kiss'.

"The smallest barn had a kitchen in it, although barely anything in it still worked. Carol was sorting through the boxes of preserved food they'd found and fantasising about having a functional kitchen when a jar of peaches caught her eye."

Caryl fluff, obviously, but also a bit of Carol/Carl bonding because that's my weakness.

“Carol?” Beth asked uncertainly.

  “Yeah?” Carol looked over the shelf at her.

  “You love him, right?”

  The question floored her for a minute. “Of course I do… Absolutely.”

  Beth nodded. “Does he ever scare you?”

  “Never.” Carol said firmly.

 Whatever happened to Beth before they found her, she wasn't telling. A discussion between her and Carol, however, sheds a little light on the situation.

Based off S5 Ep 12, where Daryl won't take a shower. He's more stressed about the sudden change than anyone realises until Carol finds him on the porch that night, in the midst of an anxiety attack. Two-shot. There is fluff scattered throughout. T for language and nudity in chapter 2.

  She picked at the sheet. “I was married to Ed since I was twenty.”
  
  “…Okay…?” He said, his voice trying and failing to stay neutral.
 
  She gave an embarrassed sort of whine but figured she might as well jump right in. “He was pretty bad in the sack.”

Set in 'The Farm' arc, very early on. Doesn't really fit in chronologically but by the time I steeled my nerves enough to post it I was beyond caring. Fluffy... But R-rated.

The group has established itself at the farm, post-Terminus. The focus has shifted to getting set up to live self-sustainably and so Carol and Daryl head on a run to the nearest bookstore, looking for books on homeopathy and crop cultivation and the like. They run out of daylight on the way home, though, and have to hole up for the night in an abandoned house... (No sexy times, sorry) Set in the 'The Farm' arc
