Beta experience: I used to beta on fanfiction.net when I was in high school I haven't done much yet. I occationally help CarolPeletier with scenes that she sends me time to time but it's been awhile since I've done a full chapter. But I'm a SAHM and can always find time to read through for flow or help plot.
Story types/topics I will not beta: I'm willing to help with just about anything, I haven't run into anything I can't beta - I do request that there be warnings if you're sending anything violent or that involves sexual assault or rape. I will still read and beta, I just need to know going into it what I'm reading.
Additional Comments: I'm in the US, Eastern Standard Time. Sundays and Wednesdays are more of busy days for me. Saturdays I am usually busy until evenings, but if you need a chapter looked at and returned that day - or can only work in a plotting session/plot fest those days, I can usually plan to be more flexible.

Beta experience: I haven't betaed for fanfic; however, I was a professional proofreader prior, during, and after college for an advertising agency. I majored in Computer Science, and part of my job included writing and proofing software documentation. Now, I'd just like to do it for fun.

Beta experience: I used to write quite a bit other fandoms and have served as a beta for others for years. I'm also an academic, so proofreading and editing while grading papers has been second nature for a long time.

Story types/topics I will not beta: Sex for the sake of sex. I would prefer that the story I am being asked to beta have an actual plot and not just sex. Unless it's a straight-up PWP. Also, I'm super picky on AUs, so you should probably consider asking someone else's help for those types of stories.
Additional Comments: I like things to be kept as in character as possible. And I'm not going to be shy about pointing out where I think you could do better.
