Wow, there are so many, I’m sure I’ll probably leave someone out by mistake. ICanStopAnytime. RamblinRose, SilverSundown, Caryler22, Coreenfw, Lilabut.

2.) Favorite fanfictions in last 12 mos?

Reaping the Harvest, Daddy, The Dixon’s Guide to the Apocalypse, Most Ardently.

3.) Favorite fic trope?

Friends to lovers, because it’s how Caryl would be if/when canon ever happens. Plus, I’m a sucker for any friends to lover’s ship in any novel/show/movie/ect. There’s just something amazing to me about having this person in your life you love and trust completely and would do anything for and then one day this light goes off in your head and you realize they’re all you’ve ever wanted, and you want to spend the rest of your life with them. Watching how that unfolds and seeing that relationship change and develop is awesome.

4.) What would you like to see more of, or what haven’t you seen in a fic that you would like to see?

 I’m itching to read a fic where Daryl was actually Sophia’s father from some brief fling, but he never knew about her and then Carol met Ed and things happened like they did, and they all meet up again in the ZA. I haven’t come across that before and I would love to see someone’s take on this, or even several people’s take on it.

5.) What made you start shipping Caryl?

 I was friends with a lot of people who watched this show before I jumped on board. I think I started watching between the season 5/6 interlude, and I binged all 5 seasons prior to the start of season 6. Anyway, a year or so before I started watching the show, I overheard two friends talking about it and speaking of a character named Daryl and how they thought he should end up with a certain character and how much he seemed to care about her. I don’t recall the female’s name and since I didn’t watch, I didn’t think much of it after. Fast forward to when I start watching the show, I instantly hate Daryl in season 1 and think back to what my friends said and how much they wanted him with a certain character. This intrigued me, and I start watching him closely. I notice how soft he speaks to Carol when Sophia is missing, I notice how he searches for that little girl, how hard he tries to find her, I start liking him more and more, and then he brings Carol the Cherokee rose and gives her that little speech and my shipper heart began to flutter, I instantly assumed that must have been the woman they were talking about and I dove head first into this show to see how things would go for these two. The rest of season 2 and into season 3 I fell more in love with the idea of them as I saw how close they’d become and how they meant more to each other than anyone else. They just have this pure, beautiful connection that separates their love from the love they have with anyone ese and I feel that because of that it can never make sense for them to ultimately be with anyone else.
