Hello Caryl fans and our Nine Lives family! Tonight's episode of The Walking Dead is 'Consumed', an hour that promises to revolve solely around our favorite characters - Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier. In honor of this special "bottle" episode, I'm going to talk a little about The CarylBYOB Charity Drive, an event that has been slowly building over the last couple of weeks.

The CarylBYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) was created specifically for tonight's episode to honor both the awesomeness that is Caryl and in particular, the amazing character of Carol Peletier. A lot of people have indicated they would be purchasing something to help celebrate and get them through the bottle episode - whether it be a bottle of wine, a large pizza, a tub of ice-cream, a box of chocolates - or even a box of tissues. All we ask is that everyone donate the amount they would have spent on their items to the CarylBYOB.

100% of the money raised for the CarylBYOB will go to the Cherokee Family Violence Center, a shelter for victims of domestic violence located in Canton, GA. 

HOW TO DONATE

There are lots of ways to donate and raise awareness for the drive today:

• Go to the CarylBYOB tumblr page and click on the donate button on the left sidebar. Donations will be accepted through November 30.
• You can go to Ikklesou's "Alone in Atlanta" Red Bubble Store, purchase an item and 100% of the proceeds will go towards the CarylBYOB fundraiser! (This is good through November 30!)
• You can participate in the CarylBYOB Fanfic Challenge, which is open through 5pm EST on November 17. As a bonus, by entering the fanfiction challenge you have a change to win a Carol or Daryl Funko Pop figure! The winner will be announced on November 17. The Fanfic contest is now closed for submissions. The winner of the Funk Pops is Bottles and Bruises by our very own sweettooth7! Congratulations!
