Caryl, AU.  Mandrea is a secondary ship.  When Carol ends up in the small town of Liberty with her daughter, she finds herself among a crowd of people that seem like they might not be the most desirable bunch.  As an outsider herself, she soon discovers that she can’t judge a book by its cover and sometimes the most unlikely of people can become the closest family.    Rated for future chapters.

Caryl, ZA/AU.  Post Season 2/Pre Season 3.  Daryl couldn’t help but to notice her.  She held his attention, even though he didn’t dare to tell her.  He only wish he’d been observant enough to notice everything about her.

Single parenthood to a traumatised child, a lingering wrist injury, and a nerve-wracking return to orchestra life - Carol isn't sure she's ready to cope with any of it, especially when someone she hoped was gone from her life makes a re-entry; but she finds unexpected solace in the passageways of the concert hall, in the person of a reticent artist completing a carving across the back of the stage.
