I'm not sure if I like writing sprints, but I wouldn't mind having a writer's chat sometime. The problem for me was that they were late and I have to be in bed pretty early because of my schedule.

Not so much speaking to the quality of writers in residence, but rather that they are a necessary evil, prompting thoughts about stories for here. The quality part goes without saying with few exceptions.

Oh my--the thought just hatched in my pea brain, that much as we cuss and discuss TWD writers, we sorta need them too. Bummer was so much more fun to have a worthy adversary to rail against. Those dad blame porcupine eggs under our blankets, necessary pricks so to speak.

@alagal...I read "Out of Mind" after you mentioned it. Very sweet story, but I am remembering the story being different. They let Daryl have a crossbow with no bolts and he "patrolled" the walls to "protect" ASZ although the walker population was almost gone. Maybe I dreamed it

I stopped watching The Walking Dead at the end of season 8. So every Sunday night I bring out my laptop to catch up on fanfiction. It helps me not miss my two favorite characters as much (since I think the show has gone in the wrong direction). So keep up the fantastic work authors!!
