In a different fandom I knew an author who used the same sex scene over and over. The stories were wildly different but the smut the same, every single word. I'm still not sure if this is smart or impudent.

Meeshie, I *just* did that a few weeks ago. I'd apparently written so many notes about it that I thought it already existed, then went and wrote the next part. Had to double back and figure out what I referenced that hadn't actually happened in the story yet.

Oh yes, that's also a good one! Bonus points if you skip a chapter and write the same scene from a previous fic in a new fic. That's a double whammy right there. :D There needs to be a fic writers confession zone here or something, lol
