lol miz ICSAT, I relate on color drapes! Households being woman's domain--her upbringing in Georgia, understandable and he can respond to social situations like he was reared in barn. His eating style when he had supper w/Aaron and Eric. Sensible given his nature & hers. Thanks y'all.

I don’t think Daryl would ever ‘give’ on something important, but I do see him as a guy who, if it is something he doesn’t care about...he will defer to her. I see them as equals. But, I think Carol is more of a leader. So, Daryl is there as her support. He is his own man, though.

Daryl’s not an “ask permission” kind of guy, but he loves her and would consider how his choices affect her. As for the mundane domestic stuff, I’d see Carol making a lot of the choices there simply because Daryl doesn’t care. It’s not like he’s going to have an opinion on the color of the drapes.
