Is fanfic legit?
With fanfic getting some attention from the general public recently, I thought this might be a good thing to share, especially if you get questions about the validity of fanfic as a creative outlet.
And if you have any doubts that you are in good company -

The Coming of the Dragon is Beowulf. Shakespeare actually wrote ONE play -- the rest are his creative reimaginings of other source material."
