From its inception, Nine Lives has been about fostering a sense of safety for our fandom, so that we may enjoy Caryl fanfiction without harassment or abuse. Nine Lives does not tolerate any harassment, abuse, or disrespect directed towards any of its members or authors. This is very clearly outlined in our Terms of Service, as stated below:

“Remember, we are here for the fun and love of writing/reading Caryl. The easiest rule to follow is this: TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED. The Golden Rule. Sadly, we live and operate in a world - and Fandom - that does not always treat others with due respect. If the administration discovers that a Nine Lives' member has been harassing another member, the offending party will be banned from the site.”
