Story Notes:

So apparently when I wrote smut last time it turned into a love scene.  Here is some actual smut (Well... Except for chapter 4).  Sorry I don't have all seven parts ready to post, but they are outlined and should be posted soon.  Hopefully you have as much fun reading this as I did writing it.

Thanks to Stephtron312 for being my beta!

Rated for sexy times.  Feedback of any kind is much appreciated.

Disclaimer: I do not own The Walking Dead.  If I did the last half of season 5 would have gone very differently.

1. Chapter 1: Horseshoes by Lamport [Reviews - 21] Liked (1472 words)

Carol stops by Aaron's garage to admire Daryl's handiwork.

2. Chapter 2: Acorns by Lamport [Reviews - 10] Liked (1324 words)

Daryl and Carol fight and make up - sort of.

3. Chapter 3: Four-leaf Clover by Lamport [Reviews - 14] Liked (2354 words)

Daryl catches up with Carol over whisky and cookies.

4. Chapter 4: Rainbow by Lamport [Reviews - 21] Liked (2004 words)

Daryl learns another way to comfort Carol.

Fair warning: this one is a little angsty.  Very different tone from the last instalment.  Music rec: Vance Joy "Best That I Can"

5. Chapter 5: Medal of Saint Christopher by Lamport [Reviews - 15] Liked (3211 words)

Daryl encounters some bad luck on a run.

I think I've come up with a name for this genre of story.  I call it "smangst" - smut with a good dose of angst.

This one is a wee bit dark with some questionable consent - nothing terrible, but I'd hate it to be a trigger if you weren't expecting it.

Thank you for all the lovely feedback on the last chapter.  I seem to be firmly entrenched in angst at the moment which some of you really dig.  This chapter helped me get some of it out of my system.

6. Chapter 6: Wishing Well by Lamport [Reviews - 20] Liked (4314 words)

Daryl comes home just in time for a karaoke party.

Decidedly lighter in tone (and longer!) than the last two chapters.

7. Chapter 7: Rabbit's Foot by Lamport [Reviews - 21] Liked (4066 words)

Daryl is teased and Carol provides some reassurance.

Smexy times in the water ensue.  This is probably the furthest I've stretched a prompt - but it's the last one so I don't care! Big Grin

Hope you enjoy!
