This story has been in the back of my mind for years. I wanted to tell a story that interwove the grief process with some historical aspects. The trick in my mind and what kept me from writing it until now was figuring out how to tell a story where appearances are definately not everything. CharlotteAshmore has been my rock ever since I hesitantly asked her what she thought of the idea. So, this one is for her.
