Non-ZA AU. Caryl nerdvana. Software development, gaming (video and otherwise), geek culture. Some angst, hopefully some humor.
3AM at the CDC, and Carol makes Daryl a job offer.

He was so gentle, her Daryl, the meanness in the world cut him in his soul. He was too good for her, she knew that too, but she was just selfish enough not to care. He needed someone like her to take care of him while he was busy taking care of everyone else.
